Terms of Service
These Terms form a binding agreement between ResvSpot Limited and the businesses that rely on our booking software. Please read them carefully before enabling the platform for your team or customers.
Effective: January 12, 2025
1. Your relationship with ResvSpot
When you create a merchant account, access the portal, or embed our booking widget, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of your business. Any supplemental order forms or addenda are incorporated by reference and will prevail if they conflict with this page.
2. Merchant responsibilities
You control the experience offered to your clients. To protect your customers and the platform, please keep the following commitments.
Account accuracy
Provide accurate business information, maintain up-to-date licensing, and ensure staff have permission to access customer data.
Client communications
You control messaging sent to your customers through ResvSpot. Always honour opt-out requests and configure reminders responsibly.
Compliance with laws
You are responsible for complying with privacy, consumer, health, advertising, and payment regulations relevant to your business.
Security best practices
Limit portal access to authorised staff, use MFA where available, and notify ResvSpot immediately if you suspect account compromise.
3. Acceptable use
Abuse degrades the booking experience for every salon, spa, and wellness business on ResvSpot. The following activities are prohibited.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content to the platform.
- Do not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any ResvSpot system.
- Do not use customer data obtained via ResvSpot for unsolicited marketing outside the consent provided by that customer.
- Do not resell, sublicense, or white-label the platform without written consent.
- Do not misuse SMS/email notification tools for spam or prohibited promotions.
4. Plans, billing, and changes
- Subscriptions are billed in NZD or AUD depending on the billing region you select.
- Fees are charged monthly in advance unless your order form indicates another cadence.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and the prorated difference appears on your next invoice.
- Downgrades and cancellations apply to the next renewal date. We do not issue refunds for partial months of service.
- Late payments (10+ days) may incur a service suspension until the balance is cleared.

5. Service levels & changes
Availability
ResvSpot targets 99.5% monthly uptime for the booking widget and merchant portal, excluding planned maintenance announced at least 24 hours in advance.
Support
Email support is available Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm NZST. Priority support tiers are available on Growth and Pro plans.
Platform changes
We may update features, APIs, or integrations to enhance the service. Material changes will be announced via email or our changelog.
Beta features
Experimental or beta experiences are provided “as-is,” may be rate limited, and can be discontinued without notice.
6. Legal terms
Term & termination
Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. We may terminate your account for material breach, repeated non-payment, or behaviour that risks the platform.
Intellectual property
ResvSpot retains ownership of the platform, code, trademarks, and documentation. You own your brand assets, booking data, and customer records.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify ResvSpot against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of applicable laws.
Liability cap
Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the incident, excluding fraud or gross negligence.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Auckland, New Zealand.
